Twenty-three years of getting students onto planes
Oli and Associates was founded in 2002, when studying abroad meant a photocopied prospectus and a friend of a friend. We built the opposite: direct agreements with the institutions themselves, counsellors examined on the immigration rules of the countries they advise on, and a file that is checked before it is lodged.
More than 30,000+ students have gone abroad through us since. They are in hospitals in Melbourne, engineering firms in Auckland, hotels in Toronto and universities across the United Kingdom — and a great many of them came from this valley.
The Pokhara branch exists because the Gandaki region should not have to travel to Kathmandu for certified advice. Same partnerships, same counsellors, same standards, here in Pokhara.
How we got here

Founded in Kathmandu
Opened with three counsellors and agreements with four Australian institutions.
- 2008
First 1,000 students placed
Australia and the UK accounted for most of them; the Canada desk opened the following year.

QEAC certification
Our Australia counsellors became Qualified Education Agent Counsellors, examined by the Australian sector itself.
- 2016
Pokhara branch opens
The Gandaki region gets a full-service office rather than a booking desk.

In-house test preparation
IELTS and PTE classrooms open in Pokhara, free for enrolled students.
- 2023
Duolingo accepted
Added to our test-preparation classes as partner institutions began accepting it alongside IELTS and PTE.
