The four questions that actually decide it
Students usually arrive having chosen a country and wanting help with the application. More often than not the country is the part that needs the work.
- What can your family actually fund?Not the tuition alone — tuition plus two years of living costs plus the proof-of-funds requirement.
- What do your marks and test score reach?A realistic list beats an aspirational one that produces six rejections and a lost intake.
- Do you intend to work after, or come home?It changes the answer completely. Australia and Canada are strongest on staying on; the UK gives you a one-year masters and two years to use it.
- How strong is your visa case?Some countries forgive a weak academic record if the finances are clean. Others do not.
