How the college teaches
The lecture and the tutorial
Taught in the hall, examined on paper
Subject masters lecture; tutorial groups of eight take the argument apart afterwards. Written work is returned within a week, annotated by hand.

Everyone sits in the hall in Ashad and again in Poush. Results are read out by house, which sounds harsh and is, in fact, the point.

Academic FAQs
What curriculum does the college follow?
The CDC national curriculum to the SEE in Grade 10, and the NEB curriculum in Grades 11 and 12 across Science, Management and Humanities. Internal examinations are set by the college itself.
What are the Saturday tutorials?
From Ashwin, Grades 9 to 12 attend subject tutorials on Saturday mornings in groups of eight. They are compulsory and they are free.
Does the college offer additional mathematics?
Yes, as an optional subject from Grade 9. It is examined internally and roughly a third of each cohort takes it.
