Nepali and English fiction, reference, newspapers and the board’s past papers — with a reading hour for every class each week.

School buses on fixed routes with a staff member on board, CCTV at every gate, and a first-aid room staffed through the school day.

Questions

Routes cover most of the town and the main roads out of it. The office will tell you the nearest stop and the pick-up time for your address.

Students bring tiffin from home. A canteen serves a simple, freshly cooked lunch and snacks at fixed prices.

The first-aid room looks after them and we call a parent straight away. Serious cases go to the nearest hospital with a member of staff.

The best way to judge a school is to walk around it on a normal day.
