Lhotse International College takes students for two years only — Grades 11 and 12, A-Levels or NEB — and organises everything around the fact that they are leaving. University counselling begins in the first fortnight, not the last term.
A hundred and ninety of our three hundred and ten students live in college. The evening is the real timetable: supervised prep, subject seminars, the Thursday guest, and a tutor who reads your personal statement more times than you would like.

An alumna reading medicine in Melbourne, a hydropower engineer, a Supreme Court advocate, a founder. Forty minutes and then questions, most of them about what they would do differently.

Ability is not what loses our students their places. Process is, and process can be taught.

You come here for two years knowing exactly what it is for. Everybody in the building is working towards leaving well, and that is oddly steadying.

A block of writing is for anything the designed sections do not cover — a notice, a policy, a letter to parents. It takes bold, italics, links and lists, and sits in Lhotse International College’s own type.
Below it: a picture with a caption, a row of buttons and a line to separate one thing from the next.
